Exciting news from Gary Bischoff!!
Gary Bischoff will be joining Kingston Community Radio as a guest host on Monday mornings. Kingston Community Radio is a listener supported radio program that discusses local, state and national issues as well as general items of interest to the community. The web site is www.mykcr.org. The web site has live streaming of programs and an archive of past programs. KCR airs on WGHQ, 920 AM on the dial from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. weekday mornings. Listeners may call in to the show at 845-331-9255. The new Monday morning hosts are Gary Bischoff and Dr. Ron Hanovice. On Monday, July 21 guests will include Senator John
Bonacic and Ulster Publishing columnist Hugh Reynolds.
Gary has been a radio host on Radio Free Kingston which airs on WKNY on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Gary and Billiam VanRoestenbers will host Radio Free Kingston on Sunday July 20, with Ulster County Social Services Commissioner Alberto Rodriguez as their guest.
Jon Sennett will be replacing Gary Bischoff as a regular guest host on Radio Free Kingston. The new line-up of rotating hosts include John, Billiam and Art Richter. Radio Free Kingston airs on AM 1490.
Bischoff stated, "Walter Maxwell started Kingston Community Radio about seven years ago. I am a strong believer of community based radio. In this day of mergers of newspapers and radio stations it is important to support community radio programs. I am grateful to Walter for giving me the opportunity to reach a larger audience."
