HEALTH CARE FOR ALL- HOW DO WE GET THERE!
Join us for a public forum and debate
Friday, April 3rd at 7 pm
at St. John's Episcopal Church
207 Albany Ave. Kingston (just north of Colonel Chandler Drive)
This is an extraordinary time. At last, the possibility of the US joining the rest of the industrialized world by making health care available to all is here!
Finally we have a President committed to health care for all Americans. However, the issue is complex and difficult and there are real differences about how we get there.
And the forces opposing universal health care are still strong.
In order to be the most effective force to support real health reform, we must be critical and informed. And so we invite you to join a debate between committed, good hearted, progressive forces on which way do we go.
In this corner is Jessica Wineski, Legislative Campaign Director for Citizen Action of New York, representing the perspective of Health Care for America Now, the champions of the Obama health plan and in the other corner is Len Rodberg, PhD from Physicians for National Health Plan, who advocate for a single payer universal system of health insurance. Let the Debate begin!
