Thank You!

I have tremendous admiration for those who throw their hat in
the political arena, whatever the result. Theodore Roosevelt,
said it best(with some changes to support gender neutrality):

It is not the critic who counts, not the one who points out
how the strong person stumbled, or where the doer of deeds
could have done them better. The credit belongs to the person
who's actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and
sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes up
short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the
great devotion and spends themself in a worthy cause; who
best knows at the end the triumph of high achievement, and
who at the worst, if they fail, at least fails while darring
greatly; so that this place shall never be with those cold
and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

The next meeting of the Saugerties Democratic Committee will
be on Tuesday, November 27 at 7p.m. at the Senior Center
small room. We'll review the election results and plan our
Holiday Party scheduled for Tuesday, December 11th at Total
Tennis (time to be announced)
