NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (October 18, 2007) United States Senator Hillary Clinton has endorsed Democratic and Working Families candidate Jonathan Sennett for Ulster County District Attorney.
"Jonathan Sennett's experience as a tough prosecutor in the Bronx and a seasoned defense attorney in the Hudson Valley make him the best choice for Ulster County District Attorney," said Senator Clinton.
"As the election for district attorney approaches, campaign signs are sprouting up everywhere. Senator Clinton's comments are a huge sign of her support for my campaign," said Sennett.
Sennett has aslo been endorsed for Ulster County District Attorney by Senator Charles Schumer. Schumer called Sennett a "tenacious and proactive prosecutor."
The Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation and CSEA Local 856 have also endorsed Sennett. "These two unions represent an estimated 20,000 members in Ulster County. The union support is a great vote of confidence," said Sennett.
